Costume Maker & Designer
My name is Paige, and I am a costume maker and designer with a passion for telling stories through costume. My interest in History, Art and Sociology has directed me towards costume. Research throughout both the design and making processes is fundamental to my work as I am always exploring new ways of approaching ideas.
My time studying at Nottingham Trent University has allowed me to develop a holistic approach to costuming including prop making, millinery, pattern drafting, textiles and so on. The skills I have learnt within these areas I am keen to express throughout future work on productions for both stage and screen.
I have a love for the dramatics and feel most accomplished when I achieve a reaction to my work. My eye for detail is important during the creative process and I always strive to design costumes appropriate for the tone of production.
